Graduates of were members of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network Of NDC (TEIN) have been posted by the National Service Secretariat to Bakeries, Mortuaries and Zoomlion for their national service.

Meanwhile, approximately 12,000 members of the Tertiary Students Confederacy of the New Patriotic Party (TESCON) have been posted to various Ghana Embassies worldwide for their national service.

The Secretariat told [email protected] that limiting abroad postings to the NPP is not questionable since they are all Ghanaians and not Togolese.

In a press statement that was hidden to the media, the secretariat stated that TESCON members posted to work abroad to entitled to receive remuneration both in Ghana and from the mission abroad.

“It’s just like Peace-keeping. They are to be paid both home and abroad” – the statement said.

According to the hidden statement, their travel cost would be taken care of by the government.
