The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, has assured customers of struggling gold firm, Menzgold, that the company would resume work this week.

Akufo Addo made this revelation at Christ the King Church on Sunday during it’s launch of School Building projects to support Ghana’s Free SHS.

In his speech, Akufo Addo applauded the Church and individual businessmen alike who are helping to shape the country for the betterment of its citizens.

The president used the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah as an example and said he has done everything possible for the firm to meet its licensing requirements.

“They needed help. I didn’t want to see it collapse. We took them through the processes and it’s now licensed.” – Akufo Addo said.

The president went ahead to assure customers that Menzgold would be resuming this week just as they communicated in the last letter to its customers.

Communications Head of Menzgold, George Quaye, was not available for comments at the time of putting this satirical piece together.
