The Ghana Police Service after arresting the bosses of UT Bank and Biege Capital, have extended an invitation to Rev. Pastor Mensah Otabil.

The police in an explanation said police ethics make it impossible for the arrest of men of God and as such the worst they could do was to extend an invitation to him.

The police added that since the pastor has a flock to lead, he can nominate someone else to stand in for him throughout his trial in connection with the collapse of Capital Bank.

Ex-motivational speakers Kofi Amoabeng and Mike Ahinaku were arrested yesterday shortly before the President Akufo Addo announced that prosecution of Bank Collapse offenders has began.

In latest development, a three-member delegation has visited Mensah Otabil to write his statement after the man of God notified them of his inability to make it to the police headquarters.
