Ghana’s IGP has issued a search warrant for the Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to the Police, Bawumia has not been seen for weeks and he failed to attend all events he accepted to honour.
Bawumia was missing during a test of medical drones at the Eastern Region. He also failed to appear for the Independence day celebrations in Tamale
President Akufo Addo says he’s nowhere to be found.
The search of Bawumia comes after the country’s currency recorded a record depreciation since it’s introduction as legal tender.
The Police say attempts to have Bawumia to come and help stabilize the cedi have all proved futile. “The general public is thereby advised to report to the nearest Police station if Bawumia is seen anywhere”.
