I want to help Waakye but he is a strong NPP Supporter – A Plus

Outspoken Ghanaian musician and political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng well known as A Plus, has said that he wants to help veteran actor, Waakye but won’t do it because he’s a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Waakye, known in private life as Prince Yawson, who had been hospitalized for months, had in an interview with Doreen Avio of Hitz FM claimed nobody donated a dime to him when his fiancee put out her number for people to support him.

According to Waakye he doesn’t like soliciting for funds to take care of himself but his fiancée was forced to put the number out during an interview about his health.

Reacting to the interview, which was reported on many online portals, A Plus indicated that he wished to raise money for Waakye but he (Waakye) is a strong NPP supporter.

He added that with all the money NPP is stealing, they can’t help their members.

Posting the link on his Facebook page he wrote: “I wish I could raise money for him like we always do but he is a strong NPP supporter. They should help him. All the money that you are stealing you can’t help your members.
