The Government of Ghana says it has secured loan to acquire all the grounded Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to start a flag carrier.

Information Minister told the Jubilee House Satirist attachee that three local banks have accepted to provide funds for the purchase of all the grounded aircraft.

All airlines owing MAX 8 aircraft have grounded them after the two deadly Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines crashes with fears of involving in accidents.

Ghana has made an offer to the manufacturer, Boeing, to buy all the rejected aircraft to start a national airline.
