The Chop Chop Association of Ghana (CCAG) has dismissed its national executive President Nana Addo, the association said in a press release.
In a statement signed by the PRO of CCAG, Baffour Gyawu, dismissing a member of the association based on its core objective goes contrary to its code of ethics.
“This is what we stand for; chop chop. So if someone chops and you dismiss him/her, you’ve insulted the whole association” – Baffour Gyawu said.
In a 42-Page dismissal letter delivered to Nana Addo and sighted by [email protected], the CCAG listed all acts of chop chop by the government since they took over power in 2017. It includes the past, current and yet-to-come acts of chop chop.
The president acknowledged receipt of the letter and said not everyone is entitled to chop chop as it is limited to just few people.
The president added that his dismissal from the chop chop association of Ghana is illegal and would petition the court to make sure the decision is reversed.
However, Charlotte Osei and her two deputies have been honoured by the association last night at the NDC Headquarters.
