went offline unexpectedly on Saturday morning leading to many investors mourning their investments.

The Kenyan firm has issued an apology to all its customers citing technical challenges with their servers due to lot of people trying to access their website. The firm promises to restore the website on Monday, a week before Menzgold resumes full operations.

“Over 200,000 realtime visitors overloaded our servers. We are fixing this issue and we look forward to be up and running by Monday.” – the statement said.

The statement added that weekly payments are ongoing as expected and all those who made withdrawal requests before the website went off would be paid tonight.

“We have started issuing payments for all those who made requests and we should be done tonight.” the statement gave great assurance.

In August 2018, Boostpal faced similar problem and went offline for three days. The statement assured investors of a permanent solution.
