President Nana Akufo Addo has cut off the visit of Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio for comments he keeps repeating at the Jubilee House.

Julius Maada Bio was in Ghana for a week-long visit to seek for technical support in the form of experts in the area of technical and vocational education training to aid Sierra Leone implement a free education policy.

Julius has been insisting on “Free Quality Education” policy and not exactly what Ghana is having. The president’s consistent use of the word ‘QUALITY” angered Akufo Addo and he had no choice than to cut off his visit.

“Why do you come us if you think ours isn’t quality?” Akufo Addo asked.

According to the Sierra Leonean President, he has been greeted with photos of schools under trees, students studying under street lights. He explained that his use of QUALITY means a policy that would ensure that students in his country don’t study under trees.

He also refered to what happened at KNUST and said he’s not here for tips that would recreate what happened at KNUST in Sierra Leone.

Julius is currently at the Kotoka International Airport with his team flying back home.
