$45M: Energy Minister returns his share of AMERI deal and begs President for reinstatement

The ex-Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko, who was sacked by President Akufo Addo this evening has made a quick apology and asks to be reinstated.

Boakye Agyarko was sacked due to some ‘kuluulu’ that took place in the signing of the AMERI deal.

According to Agyarko, he only pocketed $45 million and is ready to return the money to be reinstated.

The huge sum which was kept at his plush mansion in East Legon has since been picked by two helicopters to unknown location, probably the Bank of Ghana for safe keeping.

Boakye Agyarko blamed Satan for his action and mentioned that the devil urged him to sign the deal.

Speaking to News@7‘s Baffour Gyawu, the ex-minister said the president should accept him back and promises not to pocket such huge monies alone, but would make the presidency aware.
